A Bridge Church Home Group gathered together

Bridge Home Groups

Everyone needs community.

Why Home Groups?

In Acts 2:42–47, we see a picture of the early church: believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. They met together, shared what they had with anyone in need, and ate together in their homes with glad and sincere hearts.

Following this example is at the heart of Home Groups. When we open our homes, share a meal, pray, and care for one another, the Holy Spirit works among us in transformative, healing, and revitalizing ways.

And just as “the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved,” Home Groups are a place to grow in your faith, join others in Christian community, and see how God is active in our own lives and the lives of those around us.

How do Home Groups work?

We accomplish this experience very simply. Twice a month, families come together to share a meal, pray, and fellowship with one another. We don’t expect perfect people, homes, or families. We invite everyone to come as they are and to be open to experiencing the hope, belonging, and purpose we have in Jesus Christ.
